1. Introduction to Multi-round Elections

Multi-round Elections

Multi-round elections offer election administrators the opportunity to engage in more complicated voting processes by further controlling election flow over a series of rounds. Our round system allows you to:

  • Start a new round of voting at any point during a live election.
  • View the results of the previous round immediately.
  • Create, edit or remove ballots from the new round before voting is resumed.
  • Collect new votes on the each round from all voters, including voters who voted in other rounds.

2. The Multi-round Election Process

Multi-round Election Process

Multi-round elections follow a slightly different flow than single-round elections. View our Election Process Guide for more information on the standard election process.

  1. During live election, at any point you may start a New Round.
  2. This will Pause your election while you configure new ballots.
  3. When ready, Resume Voting to open your election back up to voting.
