Voter Notifications

In AtlasVote, sending a notification to a voter means sending them their voting instruction email. These emails contain the following information:

• Election Logo
• Election Name
• Election Code (Voters who enter the wrong URL may be prompted for their code to be taken to the correct voting location)
• Vote Start Time
• Vote End Time
• Voting Instructions
• Secure Voting PIN
• URL of Voting Portal
• *If Proxies are enabled: A secondary proxy code which can be provided to another individual

Notifications / Voting Instructions can be sent to entire voter list, or single voters as needed. Notifications may be send at any point until the election is finished, once required election properties like logo and voting window is configured.

To send single notification

1. Navigate to the Voters page.
2. Find the voter you would like to notify in the voter list.
3. Click the Actions button on the right side of the voter row, and select Send Voting Instructions.
4. Confirm the action and click Send to send notification.

To send all voters a notification

1. Navigate to the Voters page.
2. Click the Manage button on the right-hand side, and select Send Voting Instructions.
3. Confirm the action and click Send to send voting instructions to the whole voter list.

Viewing notification status

1. Navigate to the Voters page.
2. Find the voter you would like to view in the voter list.
3. Under the Status column, hover over the @ symbol to view notification status.
