2. Viewing Voter List

To view voter list
  1. Navigate to the Voters page.
Voter row properties:
  • Voter ID: This is a unique ID imported by election administrator which can be used to identify the voter. Only required for update imports.
  • Name: This is a concatenation of the voter's first and last names.
  • Email: The email at which voter will receive their voting instructions. Note: Email is not required to be unique
  • Vote Weight: The weight of the voter's vote.
  • Location / Postal Code: These properties are for informational purposes only.
  • Status: Hovering over status icons will let you know if a voter has received voting instructions, or if they have voted.

3. Adding a Voter

To add a voter
  1. Navigate to the Voters page.
  2. Click the Add Voter button on the right-hand side to open Voter Form.
  3. Enter voter details and click Add to create voter.

4. Modifying a Voter

To update a voter
  1. Navigate to the Voters page.
  2. Open the Actions menu to the right of a voter row in the table.
  3. Select the Edit option.
  4. Enter the voter's details as desired.
  5. Click Edit to change voter's details.

5. Deleting a Voter

To delete a voter
  1. Navigate to the Voters page.
  2. Open the Actions menu to the right of a voter row in the table.
  3. Select the Delete option to open prompt.
  4. Click Delete to remove voter from the election.

6. Importing Voters

To import voters from a CSV
  1. Navigate to the Voters page.
  2. Click the Manage button on the right-hand side, and select Import Voters.
  3. On the Import page, select the file selector and choose a CSV file containing voter information.
  4. Click Upload CSV to begin upload.
  5. Once file is uploaded you will see a table containing a sample of file data.
Matching your file data to AtlasVote fields
  1. On the first row of the table, you will see dropdowns for each column.
  2. For each column, you can select which AtlasVote field it contains.
  3. Note: You are only required to select specific fields. The others are optional.
  4. Required Fields can be seen below the table on the left-hand side.
  5. As you select columns from the required fields, they will be marked as selected.
Choosing an import type

Import types change the way that AtlasVote handles the incoming voter data. Options are as follows:

  • Clear old voters and re-import: This option will clear all existing voters in your list and re-import. Note: New voting PINs will be generated for all voters.
  • Only update existing voters: This option will match file data against existing voters, and only update details of voters it can find.
  • Update old and add new voters: This option will match and update existing voters, in addition to importing new voters not found.

Note: If selecting an update option, you must select a Unique ID from your file, to match against the voters' unique IDs that you previously added or imported.

Starting your import
  1. Use the checkbox to select whether or not the first row in your file is header row.
  2. Once you have completed previous steps, click Begin Import to queue your import for processing.
  3. On the Import page, you can refresh the page to watch the progress of your import as your file is processed.

7. Clearing Voters

To wipe voter list
  1. Navigate to the Voters page.
  2. Click the Manage button on the right-hand side, and select Clear Voters.
  3. Confirm the action and click Wipe to remove all voters from the election.
